Yara laughed slightly, but it was very easy to tell she'd been hurt at least a bit. "Yes, it's not too bad," she said, and stood up straight to show that. If anything could hurt Yara very badly, it was words. But she'd decided that today was going ot be a good day, and she wasn't going to let anything get her down no matter what. At last she had a slight bit of attention.

He waved at her and started pushing the cart ahead again, feeling rather sorry for the girl.

Theodore finally sold his last Eizzel as the last of the ice melted. The last of all the ice he had, and would have until that dreadfully slow shipment from Terror Mountain came in. What on EARTH was taking it so long? This did mean that he wouldn't be able to do much hunting until the ice came in. If it took long enough, he'd have to go back to his homeland and see if he could free up the supply line.
