Past: Probably born to a wealthy and happy family, B's history remains hidden and mysterious. There is no trace to whether his parents really abandoned him or sacrificed him for his safety. He has no memory of his past. The only remembrance he ever had with him are his 2 pageant ribbons and that he knew he was painted baby. He had to fend for himself. B grew up an orphan in the streets, without any knowledge of his other relatives. While doing so, he managed to get himself stained with a discarded yellow paint brush and accidentally turned basic yellow.

(B's theory of his past: painted as a baby color, his parents would let him enter in baby beauty pageants. But when he was only 7, an alarming danger enters their family. His parents had to protect their child at all costs. It was a heartbreaking decision, but they're only thinking of what's best for him, so they hid him, deep into the outskirts of Neopia Central and left him there.)

B met other orphans along the way, a blue Shoyru named Azelf and a speckled Kiko named Pawkeyt. Together, they protected one another and throughout their struggling life, chances of survival were by obtaining items and NPs from the Money Tree, fishing for food and learning from experiences. B was the head of their group and the eldest. Soon they met a blue Mynci named Sweet. She's been around Neopia longer than everyone else. She's an orphan as well and lived her life by herself, but has gained enough NPs to support herself. She was distrusting of the three at first but then grew a soft spot for them after seeing they barely made it this far and felt pity. She then on became part of their team and who is now their new leader, teaching them her ways of survival. She even found them a place to live, a hidden abandoned house in Maraqua. They fixed it up and made it their new home.

When B was already in his preteen years, he met a lost red Kacheek named Androide whom he later finds out he was engaged to and as she, who recognized his purple hair and blue eyes, explained the marriage arrangement between them their parents agreed on since they were young. They were actually close childhood friends. B was asked if he wanted to live with her and her family, but since he has companions who he loves dearly, he was unsure and felt that since he was hid from the world, who knows what will happen when they're affiliated with him... and/or it might as well endanger her family as well, so he declines her offer. Instead, she gave him a parting gift, something everyone knows no one would just give away in return for nothing. Something worth half a million: a Baby Paint brush. It was supposed to be her family's gift to B's family for all that they've done for her parents, until they discovered B was already a baby. All Androide wants in return is B's safety, and that's it. After a year or so, B visited her house in secret only to find that she and her family went missing. Either they moved or something happened. They never had contact ever since.

B and his companions whom he claims his family stayed in Maraqua. Sweet was lucky to find treasure while exploring and opened a shop at Mystery Island, selling all kinds of rare items she found. Eventually, they've earned a lot, enough for an average family. B went through odd jobs just to sustain their everyday living. B then uses the paint brush given to him in memory of his childhood friend and parents whom he never saw again.
