Gealis left Castle Lane 12 to restock the food supply of the royal family he served, the most annoying part of his job. Though he wouldn't be Gealis if he didn't try and make it somewhat pleasant, and paraded the streets of Meridell with a big empty cart. Everyone he passed he greeted with a "hey" or a "yo" or a "sup!" until he finally reached the grocery store.

"Okay... Let's see here" he removed a long list from his pocket, all food he would need for the following week. Why go grocery shopping multiple times when you can do it once a week, right? He sighed "Let the shopping commence" and started filling the cart with the items from the list, and meanwhile looked around to see if he could find anyone cool or attractive to strike a bit of a conversation with.

Pichinchia was distracted.

She was visiting her parents for a short while between gigs, and decided she wanted to cook something for them. It took her until she got to the store before she realized she barely knew how to cook. She could make them... uh... pasta? Yes! She nodded to herself. Pasta was easy! She could even try to make her own sauce!

She went towards the tomatoes and collected a bag full. Was it too many? She pondered just how many she would need when - WHAM! She smacked stomach-first into a cart. The tomatoes flew from the Aisha's hands and scattered throughout the aisles. The cart wobbled and nearly fell over, but she attempted to right it... to no avail. The cart's contents fell onto the ground.

She turned to the cart's owner - the camo aisha - and apologized profusely. "I am so sorry, so sorry, um... I... I can fix this!"

She knelt down and began picking up the items she had made fall, stuffing them into the cart with uncanny speed.

The collision came as a shock, not only did he not expect it, mutant pets were always a sight to behold. He would have tried to save the cart from falling if it weren't for falling over himself, Aisha's not the tallest pets around.

Hearing the girls soothing voice immediately changed his first impression of her, and he managed to chuckle about the ordeal. "Don't worry, it's just some groceries" he said friendly while putting the cart back on its wheels.

Pichinchia was quick to pick up the items and put them back in the cart, Gealis being a little amused by it and slowly picked up some of the items. The cart was soon restored to it's half-filled glory, the boy stretching his arm out to her to shake her hand. "Thanks for picking up most of my stuff, name's Gealis, nice to meet you" clearly he didn't mind the accident, if anything it made the shopping less boring.

Shasta watched from the shadows as two Aishas; one camouflage and one mutant begin to converse. Previously, the camouflage one, the male had been dragging a cart laden with delicacies until the mutant one, the female, bumped into him. It had been rather amusing really, even eliciting a low chuckle from Shasta.

Leaning on a wall, the shadows hid the thief well, despite her bright clothing. A vividly bright orange top and baggy violet cargos. Jewelry hung on her wrists, clinking gently if she moved. After a moment, she decided to join in. Stepping out of the shadows, she slowly walked over to them, her great wings unfurling slightly as she did so.

"Well, hello there," she called, her voice drifting over to the two. "That was quite a nasty spill you had there. You alright?" she asked, striking up conversation easily as she neared them.

Theodore made his way to the market to sell his meat, as his ice shipment from Terror Mountain was late, and without ice, he wouldn't be able to keep the meat cold. He was actually using the rest of his ice to keep what was in his cart cold. If he didn't sell it before the ice melted, it would certainly rot due to the sun. Fortunately, he had several hours to do this in.

As he made his way to his stall, completely oblivious to two aishas, he checked his ice supply. Good. He would have enough time to sell it. He might even be able to make a decent profit if someone from the castle came by. After he finished checking his supply, he raised the sign that had "Theodore's Meat Shop" painted on it in a nice green.

Not too far away, a Faerie Draik approached Skarl's castle. Whoever this was had some serious business with him. He dug his brown boots into the dirt, while still banging the gates furiously. When he noticed the guards were asleep the whole time, he drew a dagger from his boot and picked the lock. SCREECH.......

The guard had not yet woken. Sound sleeper. He entered the castle undetected. Weird. Of course he just wanted to send a message to Skarl, from Hagan. He crept to the throne room and opened the door.

Skarl was nowhere to be found.

"I'm fine, thank you very much" he answered the polite Eyrie lady and ended up chatting with her while they both got their groceries. When they were done shopping they said their goodbyes and split ways. Gealis was now walking back to Castle Lane 12 with a content smile on his face, a sociable person like him thriving on positive contact with others.

Once back he was quick to unpack and head out again. He didn't even get half of what he needed at the grocery store. Most of the things he needed were most fresh when bought at the market, and cheaper too. Pulling his empty cart near to the market he came across a meat-stand "Well hey there!" he looked at the sign, reading his name "..Theodore"

Gealis happily glared over the quality products, certainly getting his approval. "Tell me about your meats, I want only your finest, the best of the best"

"I usually have more than just Eizzel, but my ice shipment from Terror Mountain was late, so I have to sell what I have. I actually just caught these two Eizzel yesterday," Theodore replied, pointing to two of the Eizzel. "Those are the best I have. If you want to buy them, I'd like 4,000 Neopoints each."

"And do you think that the castle would be willing to sell me some ice? As I mentioned, my ice shipment is late."

Kemeka moved silently across the chambers. Where could that fat Skarl possibly be? The door creaked suddenly.

"Young Draik. Why buisness does thy have with said king?" the sleepy guard asked.

"Answers." he boomed back.

"Ah, so you hunt your own meats, how exciting!" Gealis was fascinated, and even though he didn't show it also a bit wary. He was all about fun and partying and living the lazy life, so adventurous things (however interesting) were somewhat intimidating. "The castle as in The castle? Where the king lives? I wouldn't know, I serve a royal aisha family up at castle lane 12. Sadly we don't sell, we're actually waiting for a shipment from Terror Mountain ourselves."

He looked at the small creatures, baffled by the price Theodore was asking. Though of excellent quality there was not a lot of meat on them, and he was planning on buying in bulk to last the royal family a week. "I'll give you 1000np's each" of course what was a market without a hassle, however much money he was allowed to spend 4000 was still a lot of np's for the small creatures.

"You too? I wonder why our ice shipments are late. However, I can't go nearly so low as 1000 NP each, unless I make a trip to Terror Mountain myself to get my ice. So how about 3500 each?" Theodore inquired, knowing that the ending price would probably be much lower than 3500, but also much higher than the extremely low price of 1000 NP each.

"1500np's seems more like a fair deal to me" Gealis had his usual easygoing attitude going on, so even though he drove a tough bargain he didn't seem like a difficult guy.

"And how do they ship the ice anyways? By boat? Shenkuu air ships?" he joked, but he really did wonder. He didn't personally accept deliveries, he was in charge of the cooking and the groceries.

"1500's still too low. How about 3300 each? And I don't know about other lands, but it always arrives in a large, closed cart for me. When I asked why one time, the delivery person launched into a long, complicated explanation about time travel or something. I ended up giving him 50 extra NP's to stop talking," Theodore replied, obviously exasperated about how long the explanation was, despite it being so long ago.

"Oh man tell me about it. Over at the royal family I serve they have the most dullest people come over, boy can they talk about boring affairs, they manage to make even interesting topics yawnable" Gealis knew yawnable wasn't a real word, but his lazy mind wasn't quick enough with finding the correct word, and he knew he'd get his point across either way.

3300np's were still too much in Gealis's opinion, Theodore barely lowered since the last offer. "You want to haggle the slow way huh? I can do that, 1800np's each"

"Okay, how about 3100 each? It IS lower than 3300 NP each," Theodore replied, in hopes that the ending price would be higher than 2500 each. He also hoped that someone other than just the aisha in front of him would come along and buy from him soon.
