Past: He was left on the doorstep of the orphanage by his parents at the age of 4 months. He was also very ill. The parents were bankrupt and couldn't support their son. They left, heartbroken. 3 years later, the kiko lived happily and healthy, and is good friends with the other orphans. He also discovered his love for drumming as he was playing with the kitchen utensils and starting a beat. However, he was one of the few who were not adopted yet, and majority of his friends already have new homes. He then hopes to find his new family soon without a feeling of doubt.

When he was 5, the kiko and his pals played hide and seek, but outside the orphanage, near the docks of Neopia Central. He hides in a rowboat, but later falls asleep and the boat sailed away to a ship, with its destination: Krawk Island. He wakes up only to be discovered by vicious pirates, but then later given consideration by the captain who recruits him to be part of their crew, knowing he needed more people for his dirty work. Throughout their many quests, the kiko, by instinct, found many dubloons and other treasures, giving him the name Pawkeyt, seemingly named after The Black Pawkeet, the greatest pirate ship of all time. For his birthday, during their trip, his crewmates gave him exclusive clothes only kikos can wear: an exploration space suit and gloves. He started wearing them often even if he didn't even go to space. He felt that they were his new "family" and was content, despite them being robbers of the sea. They sang songs while Pawkeyt is their little drummer.

Pawkeyt's luck changed after their visit to the Lost Desert. The captain had plans to get him lost in the City of Sakhmet, due to his jealousy of the kiko gaining more attention and/or his crew had become "soft". Telling Pawkeyt to explore the city alone to familiarize himself and learn to walk on his own gave the captain the perfect opportunity to abandon him. The crew members were sad but it was for the best as stated by the captain. Realizing that he was left out and fooled, Pawkeyt sat near the food stall, crying. He sees a couple of baskets and pots that appear to look like a drum set. Curious, he started quietly playing a tune to feel better. He was later on found by B, who used to be basic yellow back then.

Together with B, they left the city and went exploring through other lands of Neopia, where later they met a blue Shoyru named Azelf and a few years later met Sweet, who used to be a blue Mynci. They are now his new and loving family. Even though feeling betrayed, Pawkeyt kept his name and gave them the benefit of the doubt, after a Pawkeet messenger from one of his old crewmates found him and had a scroll sent to him. The message indicates that the captain planned to do all of what has happened and apologized to him. Pawkeyt then smiled, relieved that his believed family truly does care for him. Pawkeyt now lives in Maraqua, but then hopes one day to see him and his old pirate buddies cross paths once more.
