Likes to wear jewelry that she bagged from previous heists. Also wears an emerald and silver amulet that Kanrik once gave her.

Personality: Shasta is a rather tough and fiery young lady, mostly due to her upbringing in the Thieves Guild. When it comes to her business, she’s a cold and calculating woman, wanting only to do her job and do it with precision. A nasty enemy to have, she won’t hesitate to unleash her talons upon you, but if you’re a friend, you’re in luck. Kind and caring to friends, Shasta is a fantastic ally; helping both friends and those who need her. Also has been known to use her feminine charms to woo men into doing her dirty work, but her flirtatious manner has toned down somewhat considering her relationships in past.
Past: Tossed out into the steamy jungle of Mystery Island as a fledging, Shasta was found by the Thieves Guild. Raised among the craftiest and toughest of all thieves, she soon grew up to be one of the highest ranking ones there were. You never knew she had stolen from you until she left you and your pockets empty. Speedy, agile, and just plain dangerous, Shasta beat everybody when it came to pulling off heists. Well, almost everybody. There was Kanrik, whom she knew since they were both fledging and pup. He was the only one who seemed to surpass her skill. They had a friendly competition, seeing who could beat each other as the better thief. But as the competition, they grew closer and soon found themselves falling for the other. Shasta soon found herself as Kanrik’s lucky lover; the two becoming a thieving couple. It was a surprise that he would even feel some sort of love again after Masila, but Shasta seemed to awaken that feeling in him. It seemed as if they were unstoppable, stealing anything and everything and never getting caught. But like all good things, it didn’t last. Not that Shasta or Kanrik didn’t like each other; they loved each other very much. But there was always the fact that their enemies could find out and use that to their advantage. Finding it in the best interest for each other’s safety, they both decided to end the relationship. But not before Kanrik gave her a parting gift; that silver chain necklace with a solid emerald pendant. Taking it and ending what she had, Shasta knew she would be in pain if she saw him every day, working with him. She left the guild, now a nomad thief, stealing from the rich and giving to the poor. Shasta visits often, but never stays longer than a day.
Plus: Besides being able to melt into the shadows like all other Shadow Neopets, Shasta has extreme speed when it comes to flying. No one can catch her, all they can do is watch a shadowy blur zip through the sky.
Minus: Due to her morals, (what little ones she has) Shasta steals from those who have excessive riches, and gives most of what she steals to the poor or needy. This unfortunately gets her caught and stuck in jail. But of course, she escapes a day later. Also has a disliking to intense sunlight, finding herself slightly weaker in sunlight than in the shadows.
Extra: Because she’s a thief, she has connections to most of the underground world, having all sorts of allies in the thieving world; Hanso and the Double Agent Zafara are examples.
