Personality: Kass is a self-serving, utterly remorseless sociopath. He has no mercy for those who get in his way, and has a sadistic streak a mile wide. Despite this, he has a veneer of sophistication that falls apart when he flies into a blind rage. He's a shrewd tactician and a vicious warrior on the battlefield, although he prefers to attack his foes in ambushes and uses numerous dirty tricks to his advantage. He also has a massive superiority complex. He's a consummate liar, so much so that it's nearly impossible to tell whether he's lying or telling the truth.
Past: Kass was orphaned during the Theft of the Orb, and raised by Darigan. Unfortunately, none of the lessons Darigan tried to teach him about selflessness, honor, and generally being a good person sunk in. He made a bargain with the Three to drive Darigan insane so he could take over - the Three corrupted the Orb to do so, robbing the Citadel of any chance of being restored to his former glory. He was defeated by Darigan in a second war and seemingly destroyed by the Three, but he's returned.
Plus: Kass is a master swordsman, an expert flier, and uses a poisoned dagger, Trithduril. He's also an expert in the art of deception.
Minus: Kass's ego often causes him problems. He also has been known to flee if a battle isn't going his way. He also has been known to snap when he's furious and become little more than a beast. Finally, he's much scrawnier and weaker than he was when he had the Amulet.
