Is romance allowed?
Yes, just keep it to Disney level! (e.g. little mermaid, sleeping beauty)
(If you do want to get frisky, join one of the adult groups, this indicates you're up for it. You still can't roleplay it here, but you can take it elsewhere e.g. skype)
Can I RP someone else's pet?
Yes, however... It is at own risk! If said owner of the pet decides to join this forum and RP here, they reserve all right to RP their own neopet! That means you'll have to give up your beloved rp's on here so far.
Must the neopet I RP excist?
Nope! If there's a name you really like that is already taken, you're free to use it for a neopet OC. After all, in the real world people often have the same name as well.
Can we have non-neo worlds too?
Yes! If you don't want your pet to live in neopia visit the other worlds thread in the Information forum there you will see what other worlds are available for you to RP in, or apply for your own!
How many canons can I RP?
No more than 3! You can RP 1 from the book of evil, 1 from the book of heroes, and 1 side character from a plot comic that isn't listed in either of the books.
I see some people have a sub forum for their house, why?
Because they want to! If you want a house of your own just PM me and I'll get it fixed. If your OC spends a lot of time at their job, a sub forum can be created for the store he/she works at, so it's not just limited to houses.
If my neopet is painted ghost, can that give her the ability to walk through things on here? (Marta)
Yes, every paintbrush comes with their own ability, for ghost the ability would be that they can switch from ghost to real mode.
Can my neopet become an un-dead colour from dying?
Though I wouldn't advice it, yes. Neopets who are painted a special colour usually only do so to have the benefits that come with it, they still grow old like any basic neopet. E.g. a young neopet who paints themselves Elder does not suffer the downsides of being old, they simply appear old, and thus are much more energetic and healthy than very old neopets.
For Ghosts: They have unfinished business that still ties them to Neopia, they are malevolent and live in patterns. They are known to cause disruption and sometimes even injuries or worse. They can not change to any different colour or become living again, and have a weakness for salt. When their unfinished business is over or when their corpses' bones are salted and burned they finally pass to the other side. Until that time, they "live" on. They are mostly active at night since during the day they're not strong enough to move physical objects.
For Invisible: Same idea as ghost, except they are known as poltergeist. Poltergeist have no difficulty moving physical objects during the daytime.
For Wraith: When the ghost or invisible neopets remains are used for evil they transform into this powerful form. Wraiths are malicious and attack from the shadows, their kills are ripped apart like a wild boar attack. Though they wouldn't go about randomly killing people, they require to be angered before they become violent. However they can be controlled by very dark magic, though when what they're bound by is destroyed they go after who controlled them.
For Zombie: They have a curse that binds them to Neopia. They are generally stupid and slow, and hunger for brains. They usually spend their lives in cold damp places, such as catacombs, and hang out in groups, entertaining themselves with boring activities. When the curse is broken they pass on to the other side.
For Transparent: When a zombie neopet is frozen in ice they become transparent. This makes them more vulnerable to life on land than normal zombies, though more durable underwater than normal zombies.
For MSP: One of the most dangerous forms of the undead, the MSP is naturaly devious and evil, and takes full on possession of another neopet. MSP's love to wreck havoc and destroy, and are usually sly and cunning about it.
