Personal Info!
Personality: Portal's charismatic and affable, but is also a chronic liar and extremely untrusting. He loves to socialize, but hates talking about himself. He's also extremely perceptive, and has taken classes in reading body language and facial expressions.
Past: Portal's had a long, complicated history. He fell in with the wrong crowd at a young age, and couldn't manage to keep himself out of prison. His cellmate first sparked his interest in nonverbal communication, who claimed to be a former criminal behaviorist. With the help of his cellmate, in combination with dozens of books, Portal began teaching himself the art of reading body language. A private organization took interest in Portal's talent and offered him a get-out-of-jail-free card in exchange for his services, and Portal signed on without question. The organization led him to an expedition exploring an underwater cavern, with only one job - find the mole amongst the group. What he didn't realize at the time was that the organization was searching for the key to immortality. While exploring, Portal fell backward in a neon-blue puddle of goo. He nearly died, suffering from fever and delusions for weeks afterward; determined to find what they were looking for, the organization did little to save his life, and remained inside the cave. After a few weeks Portal appeared to recover, but began having sever schizophrenic episodes; he was eventually compelled to infect the rest of the team with the same blue goo. Half of the members died, but the other half developed inexplicable, mystical abilities. They took samples of the goo and left the cave, but quickly discovered that the environment outside of the cave was killing them. They had two choices, live in the cave forever, or find a cure for whatever it was that was killing them. So they collected more scientists, and began a study where they infected embryos with the goo; out of fifty test subjects, only 4 survived, and of those 4, only one gave them the power to stop the rapid degeneration of their bodies. But, not before several more of the organization died; one of them was the wife of the organization's leader. The leader blamed Portal and shot him point blank, nearly killing him. Since that time, the lupe has wandered aimlessly, contemplating revenge and monitoring the organization's movements.
Plus: Portal has the ability to teleport anywhere in the world in the blink of an eye.
Minus: Portal's abilities become null if he isn't wearing his gold necklace, which has a neon-blue stone in the shape of the symbol for Pi in the center. Every time he teleports he passes through a sulfur atmosphere, which he's developed a tolerance to over the years, but it can still make him sick and dizzy if he does it too often in a row. Also, he can teleport other people, but they're very likely to either pass out or vomit on the first teleport.

What colour is he, blue or shadow? Both are quite similar, but it's customary to add the colour where the species is mentioned in case the image breaks.

Aside that, there's the issue of the organisation. You'll have to explain how they were able to operate in secret, without getting noticed by Fyora and the water fearie, who's duty is to protect neopia from these sort of conducts.

Oh, he's blue.

And as for the organization, they had a lot of help from the dark faeries to find the cave, and borrowed most of the technology (the submarine, ect.) from grundos loyal to Sloth. They promised to share their findings with anyone who helped them, but once they all started developing powers they kept the information to themselves. So, now they're kind of at war with will all of the evil forces that helped them to begin with, and the queen thinks that's justice. XD Honestly, I probably put way too much thought into the whole thing.

My concern is with this part:

I'm not against such extremities, but for Fyora to be okay with such conduct is impossible. It would have to be done without her knowledge, e.g. the dark fearie helping covering it up or some other believable theory.

Oh sorry, I should have been more clear. The dark faerie did shield them when they found the cave, and then long enough to set up a base in Maraqua afterward, but they abandoned the organization when they realized the organization had no intention of sharing any of their research. The queen didn't find out about them until well after all their experiments were concluded.
