Two figures cloaked in shadow climbed their way from the depths of the Ice Caves, huddled close together trudging through the night's heavy fall of snow, flakes melting into their clothes, fur- everywhere - as they found their way to the doorstep of the Mountain Lodge, almost falling over each other in their haste to escape the weather.

"Y'know, I'm sick of snow," Kell groused, throwing off the heavy sodden coat, hand coming up to shake stray snowflakes from his hair and onto the plush carpet they were tramping wet and dirt into. Pff, he didn't. All the wocky could think of was curling up in front of that big warm fire, and maybe drying out his poor tail, which looked like it should belong to a whip-tailed Gelert. He made a sound of distress in his throat. "Remind me why we're still wandering around out there?"

Corbin threw his brother a withering glare, shaking the snow from his hair in a swift move, stooping low to pick up Kell's coat from the floor. "Because it's our job," he muttered under his breath, casting a glance at the girl behind the counter, flashing a sheepish smile before glaring at Kell. "And keep your voice down, man! Last thing we need is for people panicking about the big bad something that's out there."

Kell huffed, stomping his way toward the fire. "Yeah, well I wouldn't mind a freakin' pair of extra eyes helping us out."
