Personal Info!
Personality: A bit odd even for a mutated neopean, Shard Lyall Vulpin the third considers himself a bit of an intimidation, and thus often averts his eyes from 'prey' neopeans. Few seek his help, so he is rather enthuseastic about his work. He has been known to take up a challenge on impulse... once grafting the wings of a recently-dead magma eyrie onto the back and shoulders of an ixi. He will fight if threatened and kill if he's hungry enough, but as a creature of order he tries to prevent this constantly by travelling with large amounts of food. This doesn't always work, however...
Past: "The mutagens are relitively stable and predictable, sir. I am perfectly f-" A violent cough interrupted the professor's words as the substance began to take effect. This was Shard III's earliest memory.
Guess it wasn't as stable as I thought...
Shard III's knowledge of his past before then comes mostly from his journal. Now nine years older, but likely not wiser, Shard found his calling to be within the medical field, rather than in chemistry itsself. He went back to collage, twice, and got multiple medical degrees, eventually settling on surgery as a profession. But there was a problem; No hospital would hire the mutant, certified or not. So, what could he do? He had spent all his money on his courses. Ah, but Doctor Vulpin is a clever creature. It was illegal, sure, but it payed. He started taking in patients, whether their reasons were medical or cosmetic, at his apartment. he had access to all the same tools there, heck, he had connections to those who could make, find, or otherwise procure anything he needed.
He also spent a lot of time at the battledome, wearing away the excess amount of energy he always has at the end of the day.
Plus: absolutely miraculous surgeon, has a passion for science, adaptable, a decent scrapper, knows who to see to get things that are normally restricted.
Minus: hideous, prone to migranes, an outlaw by practice, overly trusting, and a bit of a masosadist
Extra: Owns a zomutt named Matt, and takes him everywhere with him.
