Hair: Mid-length, charcoal in color, and shaved on the right side. Very thick, and often a bit disheveled. 
Eyes: A striking red color. Thick, dark lashes. 
Skin: Facial scar on the right cheek. A skull-and-crossbones tattoo on the upper left arm.  
Clothing: Blue-and-white striped crop top, exposing her midsection, and blue jean cutoffs. Wears a folded red bandanna in her hair, sometimes exchanging this accessory for other red hairpieces. She wears two earrings on the right ear, a golden stud and hoop.

Personal Info!
Personality: Liquorice is a rational and independent Neopet with an edge for adventure. Some call her a genius- she's very intelligent- and she's travelled all over the seas of Neopia. She acquires a large amount of knowledge from literature, as her passion is reading books. She's a thinker, and can strategize well when she must; however, a more rebellious side of her thirsts for danger, so oftentimes she may act impulsively to increase the thrill of things. She's a decent conversationalist when she's in a social mood, but much of the time she's too immersed in a novel to chat. Every now and then, she can be found attending a lively get-together with fellow pirates, sailors, and rambunctious-types, taking part in arm-wrestling matches and drinking contests. Although she's a bookworm, she's still a pirate!
Past: Born to a young couple (a mother of Sakhmetian decent and a local, swabbie father) on Krawk Island, she grew up among jolly sailors and conniving pirates alike. Her mother read her books as a child, and, though they couldn't afford many, Liquorice immediately developed an affinity to reading. She often approached travelers around the docks and pleaded them for stories of the far away lands she longed to visit herself, and aspired strongly to travel the world herself someday and read every book ever written!
Although her childhood dreams were a bit unreachable, she took petty, often janitorial jobs on various ships in her adolescence in preparation to experience every end of the sea. After years of training, she became a navigator-for-hire, directing ships anywhere thinkable. She was caught between a serious battle between conflicting pirate crews as a young adult and lost her hearing entirely, but her disability never kept her from pursuing her goals. Presently, she travels still.

Minus: Deaf, making her less alert to her surroundings while battling, etc.; not good with emotional commitment / has mild trust issues; can be apathetic to serious situations or problems
