The World
Forum vs Website
The world is based on the website, though on an individual scale.
The website is based on owner-pet interaction, while this forum has no humans/owners. If this disappoints you perhaps you'll find that roleplaying/creating your own faeries evens it out.
No humans/owners means a few rules change, such as the painting.
Neopets still change colours through paint brushes, but they paint themselves or get attacked by boochy etc.(not an owner painting) They also get born instead of created and so on. (again, no owner)
Birds and Bees
Neopets, like humans, grow up only once. They are born in any colour, can be striped, speckled, blue, red. However, colours as grey, pirate, fearie etc. are a rare occurrence, but likely to happen when the parents are both said colour.
As for the paintbrush colour baby, it’s just a colour, they don’t paint on an outfit, they just buy those in the shop. Nor do they magically turn back into a baby, they grow up only once!
Two different species, e.g. a lupe and a gelert can only have children with a special potion called FER, though are, just like expensive paintbrushes or fountain faerie quests, hard to obtain.
Fearies and Villains
The balance of Neopia as always, lies in the hands of heroic neopets and fearies, for villains are always plotting their next devious scheme to take over! These canons have hidden boards that only they can see. This way the villains are unaware of what festivities the fearies are planning, which makes it harder to spoil the fun. Though fearies are unaware of what evil is being plotted and what doom lies ahead…
