How Potions and Brushes affect your pet!

With every colour comes a different effect, some will have downsides, other upsides, others no effect whatsoever.

Real Mode is being a normal neopet, you can feel pain, you can be touched without hurting others, won’t taste yummy(mallow) or gross(snot), everything a normal neopet can do.

N/A (not available) means it requires a good nights sleep to think it through. Will be sorted out later.

Blue, Red, Yellow, Green, Purple, Blue, Pink, White, Speckled, Striped, Spotted, Brown, Checkered, Eventide, Invisible, Rainbow, Split, Starry, Usuki, Quiguki,

Alien, Christmas, Darigan, Desert, Disco, Faerie, Island, Maractite, MSP, Pirate, Robot, Tyranian, Wraith

8-Bit
Can switch from real mode to 8-Bit. In 8-Bit mode you can literally enter digital devices.

Food Type Colours
Can switch from real mode to food. When partially eaten can re-grow or re-bake themselves depending on the food-type.

Baby
Overall appear to be cute, regardless of being angry or happy.
The colour baby does not make you a Baby like at neopets.com!
Whether the colour changes the character's size is random, some remain the same height after getting painted, others shrink to a more toddler/midget's height.

Camouflage
Can blend in with their surroundings like chameleons.

Clay
Can switch from real mode to clay. When returning to real mode any dirt will be removed from clothing so you never have to worry about stains.

Cloud
Can switch from real mode to cloud. In Cloud mode you can float. (difference between floating and flying is speed, floating is slow)

Elder
Overall appear to be very old, regardless of being angry or happy.
The colour elder does not make you an Elder like at neopets.com!

Electric
Can switch from real mode to electric. Regardless of mode, Electric pets can withstand any volume of electricity. In electric mode they can summon a limited amount of electricity.

Fire
Can switch from real mode to fire. Regardless of mode, Fire pets can withstand any volume of fire. In fire mode they can summon a limited amount of fire.

Ghost
Can switch from real mode to ghost. In Ghost mode you are a transparent image of your outer shell, everything goes through you and you go through everything.

Glowing
Can switch from real mode to glowing. In Glowing mode you’re a beacon of bright green light enough to lit an entire room.

Gold
Can switch from real mode to gold. In gold mode you’re numb, can’t feel pain, and are temporarily safe from elements.

Grey
Overall appear to be (very) sad, regardless of being angry or happy.

Halloween
Overall appear to be scary, regardless of being angry or happy.
Exceptions: Were-type, transform once on a full moon to a completely different person.
Vampire type can't expose themselves to the sun without some kind of protective magic or fearie amulet.

Ice
Can switch from real mode to ice. Regardless of mode, Ice pets can withstand any volume of ice. In ice mode they can summon a limited amount of ice.

Magma
Can switch from real mode to magma. Regardless of mode, Magma pets can withstand any volume of magma. In magma mode they can summon a limited amount of magma.

Maraquan
Can breathe underwater and are more agile underwater than on land.

Mutant
Overall appear to be hideous, regardless of being angry or happy. Dependant on the species these have special abilities.

Plushie
Can switch from real mode to plushie. Regardless of mode, Plushie pets can withstand any type of crushing and squishing. In plushie mode they can’t feel pain.

Relic
Can switch from real mode to relic. In Relic mode you can’t feel pain and are hard as stone. Safe from fire, water and wind.

Royal
Overall appear to be elite, regardless of being angry or happy. (snobby or kind)

Shadow
Can switch from real mode to shadow. In shadow mode you can blend into the darkness and become someone’s actual shadow.

Silver
Can switch from real mode to silver. In Silver mode you’re numb, can’t feel pain, and are temporarily safe from earth and sharp objects.

Sketch
Can switch from real mode to sketch. In Sketch mode you can enter and alter sketched art.

Skunk
Can switch from real mode to skunk. In Skunk mode your farts are a feared defence meganism.

Snot
Can switch from real mode to snot. When returning to real mode any stain will be removed from clothing so you never have to worry about stains.

Snow
Can switch from real mode to snow. Regardless of mode, Snow pets can withstand any volume of snow. In snow mode they can summon a limited amount of snow.

Sponge
Can switch from real mode to sponge. In Sponge mode you can absorb a large amount of fluid, regardless of mode sponge pets can withstand any type of crushing and squishing.

Swamp Gas
Can switch from real mode to swamp gas. In Swamp Gas mode you are a transparent image of your outer shell, you can blend in with fogs and swamps.

Transparent
Overall appear to be transparent, regardless of being angry or happy.

Water
Can switch from real mode to water. Regardless of mode, Water pets can withstand any volume of water. In water mode they can summon a limited amount of water.

Woodland
Can switch from real mode to woodland. In Woodland mode you can blend in with nature as a tree and can’t feel pain.

Zombie
Overall appear to be creepy, regardless of being angry or happy. In zombie mode you can endure months on end without food or water.

Rai, please go back and read Dracula. The original Count Dracula could run around in broad daylight. Because he was a very powerful Vampyre he only lost the use of his powers in sunlight. The Sunlight death gets its origins in the 1922 silent movie Nosferatu. the only vampyre this would really affect are strigoi which are evil spirits possessing corpses.

Thanks for hte input Kepiloth Allow me to explain:
I base all my information off of neopets, not of books and movies (since those may have inspired neopets.com, but are not part of their lore)

If you visit deadly dice, count von roo awakens at 12AM, then plays games with other neopians until 1AM and goes around his own bussiness for the remains of the night.

There's not a lot of information on neopets.com, so I improvised with what I knew. If I followed the lore of Dracula himself then it would be strange for count roo to sleep during the day and awaken every midnight.

Neopets uses the stereotypes derived from European lore and movies. However true Vampyres don't die from sunlight. Count Von Roo is weak to sunlight? Then he must be a very weak Vampyre. Most underling vampyres are weak to sunlight. However what the Japanese term Shinso or Progenitor Vampyres are the oldest and strongest of them all.  If he is a strong Vampyre the only reason I could think of for Von Roo to be asleep is his sleep schedule resembles mine or he adheres to the stereotypes out of tradition.

You could always send a message to the Neopian Times Editorial asking about whether count von roo is weak to sunlight or not, or whether he adheres to stereotypes xD

I am also thinking of adding to Neopia what I like to call Awakened colors. These upgraded versions of nonbasic colors like Shadow, Gold, Fire, Electric, Water,  and Snow, allow one to switch between modes even faster and even do partial transformations. They can also summon and control more of their given element.  

The idea came to me because the limits placed here are kinda going to be a problem to one of my future characters. Awakened Pets are rare but they can unlock their powers by having trained for a long time, born with their power, or have the power Awakened via a traumatic event .
