Special: Claudandus has several genetic mutations due to years of inbreeding in his family and a small mishap while he was still in his mother's womb (more about this in the 'Past' section) These are his ears, a line of fur along his spine and his feathered wings.
Due to his physical differences from 'normal' Draiks his hearing is not as accurate. While he is not completely deaf, he has trouble hearing things behind him and people speaking if they are to the side of him. While his ears do swivel like a cats would, he doesn't have full control over this, meaning they tend to either stick up straight or fold back over his head.
His wings are too small for his body size meaning flying is difficult. While he can fly, it's not for very long and not very high and it takes great effort. Gliding is much easier, making flight only used in emergencies.

Personal Info!
Personality: Claud is very hard to crack at first, coming across as snarky, quick tempered and hard to please. Once the hard shell has been broken, he's out-going and rather generous. He tends to put his friends first, helps out when needed and is a generally relaxed person. While he does have a very quick temper he is usually the first to notice his anger being in the way, especially when it comes to problem solving or disputes and will openly calm himself down by turning away, or doing calming exercises, though it normally takes a good shouting match first. He loves all kinds of puzzles and riddles and tends to throw his opinions around without being asked first.
Claud does have a sharp tongue and is more likely to insult and use his smarts rather than get into physical fights.
He's a dramatist, being very expressive with his arms and wings while talking and often taking things to heart a little too quickly.
Past: Claud was born into a family of nobles who've been in power for generations. To keep the titles within the family it has resorted to inbreeding, with cousins marrying cousins etc.
This brought about a lot of fighting within the family, with titles being passed down to whom the parents saw as being the most fitting.
Claud's mother was one such child, picked as the next countess after falling pregnant with her first child. Her sister in a jealous rage decided to slip Claud's mother a Cybunny Morphing Potion, thus making her illegable to the title. Fortunately, to hide the Potion it had to be diluted and thus had little effect on his Mother, while effecting the unborn child in much worse ways.
When Claud was born he was instantly a disgrace, too disfigured to have the title of Count passed to him and struck off the family tree. He was shunned by the family, passed onto a nanny to raise and hardly saw his mother and father. He took up playing the violin after seeing his nanny play and practiced slight of hand tricks.
Growing up his life was just like every other child's, though he hardly ever left the mansion due to his appearance and the shame it brought him and his family. He was schooled by the tutors brought in for his brother and sister, though separately and only on his nanny's insistence.

At the age of 18, having no future within the family he left home in search of fame and glory as a musician. Finding it much harder than he expected, he started travelling from town to town and playing for pennies in the streets, hoping to be spotted by a talent hunter and helped onto the big stage.
Plus: Claud's forte is speed. Being small means he's quick on his feet and very agile. His appearance is a huge benefit to his street performances, making him noticed much easier.
Minus: His power of flight and hearing is limited, he's also not much of a fighter.
Extra: Claud has a Blue Gathow named Francis which has a habit of sitting on his shoulders.
