Personality: An actress, she always shows her good sides and never the bad. Cathyrine is a drop of sunshine in the icy castle, don't  judge by her darigan looks. She is the most popular lady in the court, basically everybody loves her. Though she appears to be happy, she has dark secrets only herself knows.

Past: She loved to play in the sunny gardens as a child, climbing trees and fighting with boys. Those had left permanent scars on her body. And of course, her parents disapprove, they think she should act like a lady. She was married off to King Swan of Brightvale in an arranged marriage by her father at the age of 17. Only because her father wishes for a royal grandson. Cathyrine wasn't happy because sitting still in the royal court sounds boring, plus she doesn't love the king.

Plus: She's super sweet and makes people like her? 
Minus: Too young and inexperienced in many ways as a queen, gets easily distracted by handsome males.
Extra: Cathy is actually younger than the king's daughter, Princess Chrissanthe, and they have a mutual dislike for each other. The king never trusts his daughter more than his wife, so Cathyrine was never regent and always more of a decorative gem in the court. One of her ladies in waiting, Sorrowful Amaranthe secretly works for the princess. Sorrow and Cath used to be great friends, and Cath called her Lady Amy because Lady Amaranthe was a mouthful.
