Name of Organization: Lia Fáil Academy
Location: Island off the coast of Brightvale
Years In Operation: One Hundred Years
Motto: "Brute force breaks down doors, but knowledge is a skeleton key." Jace Beleren the Mind Sculptor.
Member Requirements: An aptitude for magic is a good start. Other qualities looked for are Charisma, Artifice skill, and a good sense of adventure.
How New Members are Recruited: Applications are sent in for review. Letters are sent back.
How They Earn Income: The normal ways all colleges earn income.
Strengths: A large wall cuts off the island from outside attacks by sea. Air raids are countered by the Artificer Flight Corps.
Weaknesses: Not enough tuition fees paid,

General Beliefs: Knowledge is the way
Goals: To train Neopians to use their gifts wisely. To keep Evil from growing too strong
-Appearance-
Uniform: a white button up shirt with a burgundy vest over black trousers. Similar for women but with short or long skirts depending on the seasons. Pants can be worn by both genders if you so choose.
Equipment: Books, the workshops, various artifacts created by students and faculty, and the Vault. The academy houses the ultimate restraint Gleipnir, which will hold any monster until the end of the world. This legendary artifact is made from the sound of a Wocky's footfall, a Flotsom's breath, a Pteri's spit, a Grarrl's sinews, the roots of a mountain, and the beard of a woman. It also hold Fragarach, also known as "The Answerer", a sword which forces those with the blade at their throat to tell the truth and can control the wind. The object held by the Academy, known only as "The Vault", is a large pillar like construct that has an aura of despair around it, though little is known about this artifact recovered from Geraptiku.

Involvement Around Neopia: Graduates of the Acadamy have been using their gifts to improve Neopia as a whole. One example of this was the discovery of the Lost desert by dropout Brucy B.
How They've Changed Over The Years: The goals of the Acadamy hasn't changed in over a century.

-Origins-
Who: Sarthos N'laaren founded the academy over a century ago. After the Discovery of the Ancients Grave released the powerful, cannibal spirit, Wendigo. Sarthos sealed it away uing powerfull ancient magicks with the help of Fyora. The strain of the spell was too much for him however and his heart gave out. Kelton, his only son now runs the Academy.
What: The Academy has always had the same name since it's conception.
When: Over a century ago.
Where: The academy has always stood where it has, On an island near Brightvale though it has expanded past the original grounds. There is a village near the Academy However the people there are frightened, because of the event 67 years ago.
Why: The initial idea of the academy was to create a place where Neopians could hone their powers for those times when villains threatened the planet. Over time though the Academy has shifted to teaching not only how to control unusual gifts but also encourage them to use them to create new and unusual styles of magic, combat, and artifact creation.
How: They asked very politely if they wanted to help build a better world.
