It is unknown where this blade originated, but some say due to its design and abilities that it was created by a Dark Faerie. There is a matching shield that stores a dozen small throwing knives along the inside.
She has a Halloween Zafara plush named Era who talks,This is Erebus, an assassin for the gang and the one who tutored Lana in the ways of the thief. He got on the bad side of a powerful dark faerie and was cursed into a plushie form.

Personality: Very aggressive though she has some softer points. Lana doesn't trust many people. Rarely trusting her own lieutenants. She rules the Corvus Gang through fear of her sword and her network of spies built up by the previous leader Tyr. This isn't the way she wants to run the gang, but for the most part every leader did this their first few years. However some traits of a young girl can be seen in her behavior such as the naming of her prized blade, or the way she acts when no one is around. She tends to be more open to other women than men due to her less than fond memories of her father. Lana has been known to disappear for days looking for unusual targets, or to visit her mother in Maraqua. She understands the plight of poorer people and can be seen giving to those in need or down on their luck.
Past: Born to poor parents, Lana's father owed many debts. Any money he had left was often spent drinking his troubles away. Being a normal man he took out his anger on those who were weaker than him. This led to her both she and her mother being beaten whenever he became angry. One night when he was extremely inebriated and was hurting his wife Sarah badly. An injured Lana limped into the kitchen, grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed him in the back to protect her mother. The twelve year old Lana was acquitted of the murder as it was self defense.
She ran away from home two years later, as everyone she knew still regarded her as a murderer and a bad egg. She swam for several days non stop and collapsed on the docks of Meridell. After few weeks begging on the street, she bumped into a Halloween Zafara. This was Erebus, an enforcer and assassin for the Corvus gang. She followed him inland to a shack the hid a stairway to the gang's underground base. As Lana made her way through the base following Erebus most members assumed she was a servant or a cat-house worker. Erebus noticed the young gelert and pulled her aside. When he asked her about what she was doing Lana replied she had followed him hoping to find a place to stay.
She joined the Corvus Gang in Meridell and quickly caught the eye of Erebus a high ranking member. He decided to make her his apprentice, teaching her how to pick pockets and locks as well as the basics of extortion. Under his tutelage, she quickly rose to be one of the gang's fastest fighters using her small stature and speed to out maneuver her opponents, most of whom hadn't expected her to be so quick. This didn't escape the eye of Tyr the gang's leader.
The Corvus Gang had a tradition dating back to it's founding that anyone in the gang could challenge the leader of the gang if they felt he wasn't up to the task of leading. Erebus decided she could use a little challenge and equipped her with a curved sword and matching shield that the Zafara had stolen from a weapons collector on a whim. He mostly saw this as a test of Lana's fighting abilities. Little did he know the power of this peculiar blade.
She decided to try her hand at challenging the leader of the gang to a fight. A sixteen year old girl fighting a far stronger and more experienced foe. The battle was a sword versus a bladed whip which would cut with blinding speed. During her battle with the Techo leader, the blade she had been given by her teacher began to drip a strange green substance. This quickly began to burn every cut it got into, before exploding and taking off her opponents' sword arm. Noting how fast he was bleeding out Tyr knew he wouldn't make it to a hospital in time and asked the young Gelert to finish him off. She dispatched him using one of the knives she kept hidden on the back if the shield, taking control of the gang in one exhausting battle.
Plus: Her sword is able to cut through light armor and can gut unarmored foes. She is faster than most members of the gang.
Minus: Doesn't do well in prolonged fights, against heavily armored foes, or foes more skilled in combat than her. Snipers can pick her off quite easily.
Extra: The blade "Mister Bang" is based on the kukri, a type of machete like knife used by worshippers of the Hindu God Shiva. Her surname, Raia, is Latin for the Ray family of fish.
