Skin: small, round burn scar on left side behind the last rib, over which fur has grown coarse, shorter than usual and grey. The lupe is slightly malnourished and has a pale and unhealthy appearance in general, he has a very proud and confident posture and way of walking, and he keeps on the ends of his paws, making an effort to appear taller.
Clothing: he wears a rather fancy blue cotton jacket over a white dress shirt, and ties around his neck a playfully sloppy baby blue steinkirk. Over his right eye is a plain eyepatch secured with three straps, although should he feel overly confident he might wear one with unnecessary gold thread trim or something equally gaudy.
Other: His accent is a coarse, brash somewhere between Neovian and west coastal Merridell, and he exaggerates it deliberately.
Personal Info!
Personality: Ciel Chien de garde is a rather fickle person outwardly, the more people are about, the more cheerful he appears, and he does well, visibly at least in large crowds. He is bold, opinionated, occasionally impolite but usually not unless he is speaking down to someone he sees as inferior, which has more to do with the way one acts than their social standing or income. Outside of large gatherings, he acts as an adult and expects everyone familiar with him to treat him as such, no matter how cutesy or childish he acted previously.
He is often seen seemingly hiding behind his butler, a tallish, smallish shadow grarrl named Notbastian who would prefer to be less obvious than this makes him, and it is a running joke between the two of them that the latter is more of an overpaid valet, and that they should change his job title. The two of them are almost always chattering on about one thing or another, with the exception of when Ciel is working, which is often. He becomes annoyed often with how dependent on others he is, and sometimes feels overshadowed by his own employees and underlings. Therefore he taunts them and finds fault with them continually to fuel his own ego. He is fond of puppyblew, spardels, and other such petpets and seems to find some sort of kinship with them, and owns a playful if somewhat protective sparky of his own, named Plato. He is very fond of sweets, particularly cakes, scones and other such pastries as opposed to say, hard candies or neocola. He does not seem to adhere to any sort of moral code but gets upset when others, particularly strangers, do something he considers wrong or immoral. Fond of card and board games, he will not often stop those who cheat unless they are doing something that affects the way the game works or are doing so in a way that seems accidental, and will sometimes bend the rules himself.
Past: Born to a rich family and spoiled rotten, Chien de Garde was a shy but sly little brat and although he was adorable in his parents' eyes, he was quite the trouble maker from the start. Playing pranks with the flowerpots in the windows, getting into, onto or through things he had no business to, teasing the guests... Luckily most seemed to find his antics amusing. The family was quite privileged, and made enough money to seasonally alternate between a large manor in Brightvale, the home of his father, and a smaller estate in the haunted woods, from which his mother's side of the family originated. In the haunted woods, so long as they didn't spend too much time in Neovia, they were mostly free of the responsibilities Ciel's father had in Brightvale. Then, one day, something happened. No one knows exactly how it happened, but the large house in haunted woods collapsed with little warning. All but a handful of the occupants were found dead or injured, and the remainder were entirely unaccounted for. Months later, Chien de Garde showed up at the mansion in Brightvale, An elderly yurble and a strange shadow pteri in tow, and leaving the first of those two there, caught an ixi-pulled coach to the office in Brightvale's capital from which his father had worked, where a struggle for ownership had taken place, in part due to the youth of it's new owner, because in his father's will it was said that the company's ownership would be granted to someone if his direct descent, and Ciel was the only one who matched the description, and was too young to be taken seriously. Through a long and unusual series of deals he was able to indirectly acquire control of the company and promoted himself to the vacant position.
Plus: He is very observant, decent playing violin thanks to many lessons. Ciel seems very talented at picking up on and remembering rules and numbers.
Minus: Ciel Chien de Garde is horrible at anything involving footwork and has little appreciation of creativity or art. He has fairly terrible depth perception and a bad temper that takes considerable effort to control.
